Thank you, Martin, for bringing to my attention this wonderful bit of news! The Toronto Reference Library will be showcasing a gallery of leading graphic novelists such as Seth, Chester Brown, Art Spiegelman, Chris Ware, Julie Doucet, Marjane Satrapi, R. Crumb and many more.
It will be on display from January 22-March 20. So if you're in the city at that time, check it out! I know I will!
Also, Patricia, if you're unaware, the Toronto Reference Library has a huge selection of comics and graphic novels in their collection. Be sure to look at their catalogue.

Also Patricia, if you're in the city at that time, you know where I live!

I'm looking to connect with graphic novelists in Tampa, Florida area or St. Petersburg, Florida. I'm a High School Reading Specialist. I am a former art teacher and still do alot of illustrative art on my own. I'm trying to find out if anyone in Florida is doing this kind of art, and where. If you have published a book or are currently working on something, let me know. There's a great new audience interested in reading and viewing.
