TGIF Illustration 4!

It's been donkey's years since I last contributed something for Illustration Friday, so here it is. Sorry, I just don't have time to do a detailed illo (I got deadlines up the wazoo), so a pencil sketch will have to do.
This week's subject was Nourishment. I don't think I need to tell you what nourishment means to me.
LOVE this. :-)

Great illustration, look forward to seeing it in color.
I too lived in Ontario on the border near London. I am now living in the US in the midwest, but do still miss the days of living in Canada.

You can use it again next week if the theme is "ergonomically-incorrect seating positions."
Just poking fun! It's a very appealing sketch BECAUSE of the position, ignorant of the viewer's perspective, that you chose.

Love the illo. You've got a great knack with expressions.

Great drawing.
Oh, and speaking of nourishment: RJ, if you happen to stop by, I've posted my response to your martini query (which was also my submission to Illustration Friday).

Beautiful drawing. I like the characters, and I'm a big fan of books.

I would love to see this on a coffee mug- not that I need another mug but it would be perfect!
