Does anyone remember that song from the B-52's? Boy that's going back a bit. The 80's were some crazy times for music. Remember Thomas Dolby and Hyperactive?
This is the illustration I'm using for my first postcard mailout. Not sure how I'm gonna colour it yet; probably watercolour.
I sure as hell hope it gets me more clients. Interest rates just went up. House taxes are going up. Heating is going waaaay up this winter. And I'm in another cluster of clients not paying my invoices on time. My stomach is churning and twisting big time.
Nothing to do but dance this mess around!
"Nude Beach" is one of our favorite songs. Don't forget Wang Chung and the Thompson Twins.

That is the cutest, sweetest picture ever. That little furry creature in the middle is adorable! :)

I like your work, but this illustration just has an extra special charm all its own!

Are you sending out a square card? To stand out more? Maybe that's not a bad idea at all. Good drawing!

No, I just trimmed the image size to fit in the blog. It will be standard postcard size. Can't afford anything outlandish yet....

I absolutely adore it!
Start breaking kneecaps and you'll get those invoices paid on time.

Gotta make you jealous. I just got asked to do WEEKLY drawings for my Dutch newspaper. Weekly column on how to raise kids.

Why don't you dance with me?
I'm not no Limburger
Just a limburger.
As soon as I saw the title of your sketch here, wow... I thought B'52's.
So, I cannot resist telling you, Bookluster, that it is only in the past half of a year that I have renewed my high-school love for the B'52's.
I have been listening to "Good Stuff" and "Time Capsule" and "Cosmic" and the first album all summer long. I CANNOT ever get tired of it.
Anyhoo.... really.
Quite serendipitous to see that there are other Rock Lobsters out there in the blogosphere.
Mind if I crabcrawl around your site for a bit?

Cipriano, did you ever tango with Nina Hagen? Her German version of 'White Punks on Dope' was wicked. Closest I ever got to liking Punk.
Crabcrawl to your heart's content!
