I missed her local launch (due to the two humans I gave birth to who have busy schedules) but the hand embellished announcements of her launch wowed me, as did the donations to my cause of choice, NS Midwifery, I plan to pick up a copy of the book right away so I can gift it to my doula friend who is pregnant. :-)

HAVE FUN!!!

Have a blast! Can't wait to read all about it.

Have a wonderful, wonderful time. I truly cannot wait to see what you write and sketch about it. Enjoy every moment!

I've been lucky enough to be invited too.

I'll be the children's writer wandering around wondering why this book launch doesn't have clowns, balloons and lots of screaming kids.

Hopefully, we'll meet up and we can discuss books, blogs and all things literary.

See you there! :)

How exciting, Liam! I guess it will be you approaching me, 'cuz I don't know what you look like! I assume you've seen some of the pictures of me on my blog? I'm the one who really needs a haircut.

another reason to move to canada. like i need another...

look forward to the wrapup.

Thanks for drawing "The Birth House" to my attention. It sounds like one that I will enjoy. Have fun tonight!

What a night! And I got to meet Patricia and her sweet hubby. And there were balloons.
Thanks so much for coming and for your enthusiasm and for just being you.
I'm off to sleepy land since I have a VERY early flight back to Nova Scotia.

Liam...did I somehow miss you? I felt so swamped at times and there were a few people I 'met' but didn't even catch their names.
Details to come. Thanks again Patricia for being a part of it all!

Thanks all for the well wishes!

You looked fabulous and you're as lovely and charming in person as you are on this blog! It was a pleasure to meet you and your hubbie. I hope you had a good time...

Lucky you! I hope you had lots of fun! Another book to add to the list!

So, Pat, c'mon. Dish, dish! :-)

I'm enjoying your website, patricia. It gives me a chance to learn about books I may never have time or opportunity to read, and gets me thinking, which is always good.

Thanks also for the good words about Ami McKay's book. I'm her very proud 'literary sister of the Bay' and am so excited and thrilled that things are going well.

cheers, jodi
Scotts Bay NS --same place, only I spell it with two Ts...;-)
