Here's a couple of photos from Robin Pacific's show. The photographer is Torontoist contributor Nadia Halim, and you can read about her experiences (and see more photos) at the show on her lovely blog.
I have got to make the time to get out there again, but I'm struggling to finish up two book projects...there's irony there for ya. I'm bogged down with books, yet yearn to bog myself down with more books, thanks to a woman who has de-bogged herself of her books.
Great photos, great book set-up and I wish I could go. But I think I'd end up wth a kink in my neck from looking at all those books sideways.

So is it still going on then? I figured by now all the books would be gone. Very cool pics and I hope you do get to go check it out.

Ha, what a coincidence: I just posted about TLS article on Patrick White and there's his "Riders in Chariots" (NYRB classics) in the second picture. How I wish I could go.

And see, it just hurts me to look at that. Books hung over a rope...the horror! I am so particular with keeping my books pristine that I'm going to have nightmares now thinking about this. ;)

Hi Patricia, Thanks for the shout-out! Glad you like my blog! :)
I don't know how long the supply of books will last -- I just did the math, and if they stick to the 4-books-a-person limit (and everyone takes 4 books) the show will last through 417 visitors. That doesn't seem like a lot, given the level of interest -- it would probably be a good idea to check it out this week if you want to go.
Carl V: don't worry, the books don't stay on the ropes for very long!
