BiblioQuotes
How's about a brand-spanking new category? This one's a fun one! BiblioQuotes! Every now and then when the mood strikes, I shall post a book or writing or reading related quote for your biblio pleasure. Sound good? Sure it does!
Today's quote is one of my most favourites, so of course it has to go first.
"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."
– Groucho Marx
It's one of my favorites, too!

I suspect this quote is many a bibliophile's favourite quote.
I like the BiblioQuotes idea too, but then I'm biased--I've been posting NODs (nuggets of the day) on my site for some time, quotes taken from whatever book I happen to be reading at the time to review.

Great new category!
I remember the first time I heard this quote -- I was in hysterics. Now, I'm reminded of this quote very day: We have a daily edtorial production meeting, and our meeting leader always starts off with "Outside of 'production'..." For months I've been trying to come up with a witty, parallel way to finish his sentence.

I R quotes, so of course I love this one! The other one I like by Groucho is "I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a good book."

I love that quote! I just may have to steal that from you, Lyn.
