The weather is just sooooo lovely, and as such, well...who the heck wants to spend time in front of a computer? Heh. I've been a busy little bee in my gardens, and have been having a wonderful time. So that's why I did this June cartoon for the Town Crier, I guess!
Hey! If you're in Toronto on Wednesday June 17th, I suggest you swing by the bookstore This Ain't The Rosedale Library at 8:00pm! My writer pal Laurie Channer will be in very good company, reading with two very acclaimed authors. Laurie will be reading from her very dark and funny novel Godblog. Author Mark Leiren-Young (winner of the 2009 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour!) will be reading from his novel Never Shoot a Stampede Queen: A Rookie Reporter in the Cariboo, and Michael Wex will be reading from his sharp and funny New York Times bestseller, Born to Kvetch.
So there'll be stampeding queens and gods and blogs and kvetching, with plenty of funny to go around for everyone at one of Toronto's very cool independent bookstores.
What's not to like, nu? Don't be a putz and miss out!
