My writer pal Laurie Channer will be in very good company, reading with two very acclaimed authors. Laurie will be reading from her very dark and funny novel Godblog. Author Mark Leiren-Young (winner of the 2009 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour!) will be reading from his novel Never Shoot a Stampede Queen: A Rookie Reporter in the Cariboo, and Michael Wex will be reading from his sharp and funny New York Times bestseller, Born to Kvetch.
So there'll be stampeding queens and gods and blogs and kvetching, with plenty of funny to go around for everyone at one of Toronto's very cool independent bookstores.
