I sure can't, can you?
And say...are you familiar with the amazing podcast blog Just One More Book? If not, ya should be! Andrea Ross & Mark Blevis are passionate about kid's books, and so they do podcast interviews about the children's book they love and why they love them, and record the podcasts in their favourite coffee shop.
Recently they've been posting a series of short podcast interviews entitled 'Love of Reading'. A while back artists were invited to share images which represented their love of reading, and so I submitted an image. All the artists who submitted their work were eventually given the delightful opportunity to be interviewed by 'Just One More Book', and that includes myself.
One funny little note about this interview. Ok, maybe not so funny. The day before my session with Mark Blevis, I got stung right under my eye by a blasted wasp. One side of my face swelled up quite nicely, and so as a consequence, I didn't sleep very well that night. Early the next morning was the scheduled time for my interview. I didn't want to reschedule (we'd already had some trouble finding a suitable time), so I soldiered on. I was so tired I felt like I was stoned. I um, hope that doesn't come across in the interview.
