Of course I was gonna do a book giveaway for my baby! How could I not? Ok, here's the deal. Very simple. All you have to do is comment on this post. BUT – in your comment you MUST tell me whether or not you are voting for Pirate (hates the hot sun, not fond of traveling, loves peace and quiet and is partial to yoga) or Penguin (hates the cold, loves traveling and adventure, finds yoga boring!). You can even give me a detailed reason for your answer, or a totally silly nonsensical reason would be good, too!
The contest will run until the end of Thursday November 5th. On Friday November 6th in the morning, I will write down all the names on this blog post, put them in my magic coffee tin, shake 'em up, and pull out three lucky names! Those three names will get a signed copy of my book, plus a luverly bookmark! Woo-hoo!

Hmmm...Pirate or Penguin, I choose Penguin for the travel and adventure, but it's really the great sweater that made my decision.

I'm picking Pirate. In addition to the whole peace-and-quiet thing, I drive what I affectionately call "the pirate car" - a Yaris. (Pronounce it YAR-is - "yar" like the pirate says, ya know.) I am also annually amused by Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sept. 19).

I have to vote penguin because I hote yoga and love to travel. I do not like the sun but I just can't vote for someone who likes yoga.

Between a 7 and 10 year old, the conversation was quite specific - travelling yes, but not by boat, so maybe Peguin, cold, but only if it snows too, but sun is good as long as it's not too hot. I'll just have to throw in my two cents and vote Pirate, because he looks like my old Estonian relatives. (keeping fingers crossed, thanks for doing a giveaway!)

Congratulations on the book! Watch out! Penguin is planning to trick Pirate out of his giant back scratcher. He must be (his sweater looks so hot and itchy). Pirate will win in the end tho, with his hat, he's too cool to lose, (and too nice not to share).
