This quote is a little bit different. I was attending my monthly CANSCAIP meeting Wednesday evening, and a children's author was discussing her new book to the group (I'm afraid I can't remember her name!) She told us that she had recently run into a friend who could not help but notice how happy she appeared to be. Here is the brief conversation that transpired:

Friend: Do you have a new lover?

Author: No – but I have a new book!
